The Brazos Central Appraisal District is seeking candidates for the following positions:

 

Customer Information Specialist
Responsibilities include managing large amounts of incoming calls, providing data entry assistance as needed, and identifying/assessing taxpayers’ needs to achieve satisfaction. The applicant should have strong phone contact handling and communication skills, ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters, and the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. A high school diploma or GED is required. The applicant should possess general office skills, data entry skills, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is preferred.

Commercial Appraiser
Responsibilities of a Commercial Appraiser include office and field work associated with the appraisal of commercial property, including the gathering of information required for the use of Marshall Valuation Service for the cost approach and an understanding of the income and market approaches to value. Applicants must have a high school education or equivalent and have TDLR certification or be willing to complete requirements to obtain such certification. Applicants must also possess good computer and people skills, have reliable transportation, and a valid Texas Driver License. Commercial Appraisal experience is preferred. Salary is contingent upon experience and qualifications.

Residential Appraiser
Responsibilities of a Residential Appraiser include office and field work associated with the appraisal of residential property. Applicants must have a high school education or equivalent and have TDLR certification or be willing to complete requirements to obtain such certification. Applicants must also possess good computer and people skills, have reliable transportation, and a valid Texas Driver License. Residential appraisal experience is preferred. Salary is contingent upon experience and qualifications.

GIS Technician
Responsibilities of a GIS Technician include office and plat work associated with property identification and map maintenance. Applicant must have a high school education or equivalent. Applicant must also possess good computer and people skills. GIS experience with ArcGIS is preferred.
